Most of the sites chosen for the construction of solar photovoltaic power stations in our country are in uninhabited areas in the barren mountains of the Gobi Desert, such as Gansu, Qinghai, Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia, etc., where the intensity of sunlight radiation is high, the lighting time is long, and farming is impossible. However, the formation characteristics such as sand, pebbles and weathered stones in these areas make it extremely difficult to drill photovoltaic shelf ground piles. It is difficult to drill holes and the drilling tools wear out.
The Zhengji Spiral Engineering Method Research Laboratory is the only professional research institution. Entrusted by the National Energy Research Institute Design Institute and the construction unit, we reviewed information on the surface geology of the western region and conducted an investigation and analysis of the geological conditions in the western region. Combined with existing hole-forming equipment (modern spiral hole-forming spiral drill bits are the main direction). Research has been conducted on kinematics, structural parameters of rock mechanics components, limited static and dynamic simulation experiments of machining process materials, and other aspects. Through the cooperation of the construction unit, the problem of difficulty in forming holes in areas such as Gobi mountain slopes and deserts was successfully solved. And according to different geological conditions, we have accumulated more than 40 drilling tools with different structural materials. Through promotion year after year, large-scale construction applications have been carried out in Gansu, Qinghai, Xinjiang and other regions.
